Is people like you that makes me enjoy all this good news for sony even more, even if i play the 360 more than the ps3.
A game that has the potential to sell millions is no flop. It might not sell as good as others but is not a flop. If it was a flop there wouldn`t be a sequell and we know there will be.
And by the way the ps3 is selling, sony will never be in "serious trouble"! Even if by a miracle the 360 wins this gen, sony will not be in trouble. Look at nintendo...

Nice_cuppa you can`t tell people what to be interested in! People make they`re own decisions! Sure what you say makes total sense and that`s the way it shoul`ve been, but people like to make a big deal out of silly things, than there`s no1 that could make a decision on what or what not people should be interested in.
I have to dissagree. The ps3 userbase is half of that of the 360, and if you look at some games, COD, ASSASIN, have sold on the ps3 as much as half as on the 360. So basically thats saying that if the ps3 had the same userbase as the 360 we would`ve seen equall amounts of sales for the miltiplat games.

Thats what sets this site appart, is the arguments between fans and fanboys of each console. Without that this would be just another news site. If one hates this kind of arguments they should`t get involved. Arguments are fun and most people enjoy it and no1 is dragged into it by force. If you don`t like it stay out of it.
Sony does have everything going this year. All they need is pull together a good advertising campaign, show the world that the ps3 is a Blu player as well, and make some big hype about the upcoming games, than the ps3 will sell enough to overtake the 360 this year.
PS3 outselling 360 5:1! The strongest teritory for the 360 is ofcourse USA but the 360 is only just outselling the ps3, and the gap narrows with every passing day.
In europe the 360 is almost non existent except uk. How can some people still say that the ps3 can`t win this gen? Maybe not this year but it will happen.
One thing changed since christmas and that it that the 360 fanboys have stoped making ridiculous comments like:

Xbox 360 does everything better than the PS3! ETC ETC...

Resistance you said you paid £450 for the ps3. I`m from uk as well and i paid nearly £900 for the 360 (3 of them actually cos of rrod). A month ago i bought a ps3 paid £330 for it and i consider it a bargain. I have to say i do play the 360 more than the ps3 cos it is fun to play on the thing, but slowly slowly the ps3 seems to be winning more and more of my time, and with the line up for the ps3 looks like the actual cure for rrod is get a ps3! That way you wont play enough on...
And i know the 360 sales wont just slow to a halt, but is more likely that ps2 users will pick a ps3 over the 360 due to those games, to continue playing the series. 360 might have some good games coming out as well this year but those are not games to attract the mass ps2 userbase. And with such huge army of ps2 users backing up the ps3, it`s just logic to think that the ps3 will win gen.
I just hope that there`ll be no delays. Having the GT nearly 2 years after ps3 launch is enough. No more delays PLEASE! A if that than i can safelly say that 08 will be the best year in the history of gaming! ( At least least my best year)
First we gotta wait for hdtv to hit massmarket before Blu can really establish on the market. But with no competition we know that is here to stay and slowly (very slowly) Blu will take over and become the standard player.

When MGS, FF, GT will be relleased, at least 10% of ps2 userbase are die hard fans of any of this games and will make the jump to PS3. And 10%=15mill people (almost). Add to that the people who are interested in a PS3 for other reasons and the number will get close to 20mill units sold in 2008.
There`s no denial the MGS, FF and GT are huge games amongst ps2 comunity, just look at the total sales, and 10% is a bitt of an understatment.
I think that car damage would be a cool feature, but i would much rather have some sorts of penalising system to make players look out for each other, cos believe me with 16 players racing at the same time there`s bound to be some morons who play unfair, and take you out.

I can`t say i`m surprised about this, i knew all along that Blu will win, but i can say that i`m happy that the tide is finally turning towards the ps3 cos it`s a grate console and it fully deserves it. All we need now is games to further increase ps3 sales.
Really now, do they? Well i bought my first 360 off ebay in jan 2006, paid £450 for it. By may 2006 it was brocken already, and than nobody new about RROD. Bought the 2nd from ebay again cos i could`t find any in the shops, which broke down this summer. Than i wanted to give up and get a ps3 but there was simply no games out there to play, so i bought another 360 for £180 which is now scratchin the hell out of my discs.
I`m still having problems logging into multiplayer with many games, especially with PGR4. COD4 seems to work but is very bad, loads of laggs. And i also noticed that voice quality has droped significantly, is much harder to understand eachother.
There is alot of things that i`ve come to hate about the 360. There`s always some sort of problems. And i already spent nearly £900 and that is brittish pounds not dollars, as i`ve been through 3 consoles already.

Whille we all know that microsoft is really good at business, they are really useless when it comes to hardware, (look at the 360 issues) so i would`t be surprised if they slowly realise now that some things have been missed when they developed the 360 and they are slowly starting to implement them. But thats a wrong move cos the hddvd drive could not help gaming like the BlueRay does.
I bought halo3 due to hype and i`m sure alot more people did the same. And don`t forget that halo had a made a foot print with halo1$2 whille uncharted and hs are new IPs and sony is not helping with advertising either. And whille we now live in an FPS and online gaming era i`m not surprise that Uncharted may not appeal to many gamers.
MGS, GT and FF are huge franchises, and this are the games that many people will digg.

Microsoft is well known for its overhyped marketing, so now they`ve suddenly decided to go quiet! Give me a brake! GoW2 has not been confirmed for this year, yet every xbot is putting on the PS3 killer list for 08!
Why would MS actualy make such a statement with no back up! If they have some secret line up why bragg about it if they wanted secret. I`m sure sony and nintendo has some secrets as well but they won`t come out and make such a comment about the secret stuf.
